Richard Feynmann
Richard Philips Feynman, (1918-1988), uno de los físicos estadounidenses más influyentes del siglo XX a quien se debe en gran medida la expansión de la teoría de la electrodinámica cuántica. También se le conocen sus facetas como docente con gran capacidad inspiradora, (lecturer) y músico aficionado (frigideira en grupos de samba de Rio de Janeiro). Participó en el desarrollo de la bomba atómica en el proyecto Manhattan. Y posteriormente fue uno de los miembros de la comisión que investigó el desastre del transbordador espacial Challenger. Recibió el Premio Nobel de física en 1965, junto con Julian Schwinger y Sin-Itiro Tomonaga.
